Head of The Department
Mr. Khamruddin Syed is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering He has 10 years of teaching experience. He is now pursuing his PhD in the area of Electric Drives. He has published Research Papers in various domains including Power Systems, Electric Drives and Engineering Education in Scopus and UGC approved journals.
He is also the Director, Center for Engineering Education Development (CEED). His research interests are Power Systems, Sensor-less Control of Induction Motors. He has also selected as an Assistant Faculty for IUCEE-IGIP International Teachers Certification Program for multiple times. His other interests are Pedagogical Training, Collaborative Learning. He has been awarded as Microsoft Educator Award in the year 2015 and IUCEE faculty Fellow in the year 2017. He has organized and acted as a Convener NCESTFOSS-2017.

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in the year 2008 with B.Tech (EEE) & an intake of 60 students. Electrical & Electronics Engineering is one of the fast growing and one of the most sought disciplines in the field of engineering study. It comprises with the electrical engineering and electronics engineering.
By the technically modernization of the world and computerization in our work field, it is necessary to use and understand the circuits and computerized devices in electrical & electronic field. The electrical & electronics engineering involves the use, storage and generation of the power and energy. The program not only involves in electrical appliances, but also involves in computer, electronics, communication and mechanical fields. It can involve the large and small amounts of power and devices.
The department has its own society, the ‘EAE (Electrotechnia Association for Empowering)’ comprising of the faculty members and student members. It creates technical platform for sharing the knowledge on the contemporary happenings in the field of electrical and electronics engineering around the world.
