Ln. K. Krishna Reddy, Chairman of K G Reddy College of Engineering & Technology, is an Engineering Graduate with Masters Degree in Computer Science from Technische Universität Wien, Austria. Mr. Reddy brings with him 15 years of experience in IT domain. In his previous occupations he has not only worked with IT industry, but has also been actively involved in the edification initiatives. In the past, he had also been director of various software and construction companies.
Focusing on Mr. Reddy’s involvement in the field of education, Mr. Reddy has imparted technical education to students in India and abroad. In fact his contributions towards this field have been acknowledged at the most serious levels and in the same context, the Indian Government has honoured him with “Rastriya Ratna” award. In addition to the stated, Ln. K Krishna Reddy has been bestowed several national and International awards for his contribution to the needy and the society.
Dr. R.S. Jahagirdar, the high-volume professional, has got 32 years of teaching experience in Engineering education. He started his career as a lecturer in College of Engineering, Pravara, at Nagar and worked as the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department and as the Principal in Pravara Rural Engineering College, Loni, at Ahmednagar. He acquired his Ph.D in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering). He is the man of thirst for knowledge has organized many faculty development programs. He has worked as Chief Editor of International Journal of Research in Engineering Science and Technology, ISSN. He is also recognized as member of Advisory Committee of Indo American Summit on Higher Education. He has executed Research work in Software, Biodiesel, Lubrication and Design. He has acted as Coordinator for Central for assessment of answer paper of Dr.BA marathawada university, Aurangabad Two colleges has been accredited and awarded under him with ISO 9001:2001 during his tenure. He has won the honor as Best Principal from IEI and as most Innovative Principal at National Level.
Academic and Research expertise includes Lean Manufacturing and Operations Management, Supply Chain and Logistics Management, e- Enterprise Modelling of B2B and B2C Markets, Simulation Modelling and Analysis, Quality Management, Information System Design, Decision Sciences, Applied Ergonomics, Systems Engineering, Strategic Management and allied Industrial Engineering and Information Technology areas.
He motivates students to organize and engage in various activities through Research and Development and Entrepreneurs cell. He has organized many knowledge sharing programmes for the staff and students. With relentless efforts, he strives for the quality and progress of the institution and guides the staff in accomplishing the vision of being a centre for technical and academic excellence. In all his activities he kindles the curiosity of the students to achieve more by their smart work. Each year our institution steps forward by securing two fold results than the previous semester.
Director – Strategy, Operations, and Human Resource Development
Dr. Rohit Kandakatla has completed his Ph.D. in Engineering Education from Purdue University and is currently serving as the Director for Strategy, Operations, and Human Resource Development at KG Reddy College of Engineering and Technology. He also has an adjunct faculty appointment with the Center for Engineering Education Research at KLE Technological University. He completed his Bachelors of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from Manipal Institute of Technology and Masters in Embedded Systems from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad. His research interests include education policy, faculty development, understanding organizational development in higher education, and integration of technology and entrepreneurship in engineering education. He was awarded Young Engineering Educator Scholarship by National Science Foundation (NSF), IUCEE Young Leader Award for the year 2015, and IGIP SPEED Young Scientist Award for the year 2014. He previously served as the President of the Student Platform for Engineering Education Development (SPEED) and the Vice-President for Student Engagement of the International Federation for Engineering Education Societies (IFEES) where he has led many student-based initiatives to help solve engineering education issues at the local and global level.
