The Computer Society of India (CSI) was formed in 1965 with a handful of IT enthusiasts to share their knowledge and exchange ideas with an Indian IT industry, which is a fast emerging sector. KG Reddy College Engineering and Technology has inaugurated “KGRCET-CSI Student Branch” on 22-11- 2011 under the guidance of Ln. K. Krishna Reddy, Chairman, KGRCET, Dr. M. Madhusoodanan Nair, Principal, KGRCET. The inauguration was done by Mr. Raju L Kanchibhotla, Chairman, CSI Hyderabad Chapter, Mr. I. L. Student Platform for Engineering Education Development

SPEED is a global, non-profit student organization that functions as an interdisciplinary network of engineering students, who aspire to provide opinion and create an impact on future development of engineering education and its effect on society and environment. SPEED student chapter was inaugurated at KG Reddy College of Engineering and Technology on July 9 th , 2014 by Mr. Dhinesh Balaji, Vice-President, SPEED.
