Department of Civil Engineering conducted a one-day industrial visit for Final year students on 12th November 2022. The main objective of this Industrial visit was to gain practical exposure where students can acquire knowledge on mix design, types of cements, types of admixtures, concrete mixing proportions, bar bending schedule, building planning and quantity estimation including the safety measures that to be taken during Construction works. Details about the construction work from beginning to final Finishing of Project was well explained by the JMC Project Engineers especially SRI VEERABADRA RAO Project Manager.
Faculty Coordinators of Industrial Visit Mr. Rathna Chary and Ms. K. Hima Bindu along with Students of Final year started at 10AM from college and reached by 10:30 AM near PBEL CITY. Assistant Manager & Senior Engineer of JMC infrastructure Project Private Limited initiated their interactive talk with Students by explaining safety measures followed by equipment’s usage during Quality testing of soil samples, Concrete Cubes, Material Usage, Estimation of Project, Reinforcement Detailing.
By this Visit Student gained Practical Knowledge and was aware of Several Construction Practices at site.
