KG Reddy College of Engineering & Technology has constituted various statutory and non-statutory committees to ensure effective governance, academic quality, student welfare, and institutional development. These committees function in accordance with regulatory norms and institutional policies, addressing areas such as academic planning, discipline, grievance redressal, safety, ethics, and student support. Through collective participation of faculty, staff, students, and management, the committees play a vital role in maintaining a transparent, inclusive, and well-regulated campus environment.

Popularly known as NSS, the scheme was launched in Mahatma Gandhiji's centenary year 1969. Aimed at developing student's personality through community service, NSS, is a voluntary organization of young people in Colleges, Universities and at +2 level working for a campus- community linkage.
The cardinal principle of the NSS program is that it is organized by the students themselves, and both students and teachers through their combined participation in community service, get a sense of involvement in the tasks of nation building.
Objectives of NSS:
- Understand the community in which they work
- Understand themselves in relation to their community
- Identify the needs and problems of the community and involve them in problem-solving Develop among themselves a sense of social and civic responsibility
- Utilize their knowledge in finding practical solutions to individual and community problems

- Develop capacity to meet emergencies and natural disasters

Committee Members
Provide advice, support, and liaison for the faculty, the individual departments, and the Librarian on matters of the role of the Library in academic learning, budgeting, collection development, bibliographic instruction and automation, circulation, and reference services. Academic departments have responsibility for the quality of their collections.
The major functions of the Library Committee:
- To propose library vision, strategy document
- To formulate various policies related to library like, purchase, space etc.
- To propose library budget for the Institutes and department
- To propose library activities, programmers and services
- To propose library and information literacy in the institute
- Online journal software awareness and for faculty publications and institutional publications.
- Implementing Library policies – Library Material Purchase Policy, Book Bank Policy, Electronic Resource Access Policy.
- To provide for proper documentation services and updating the Library collection.
- To work towards modernization and improvement of Library and documentation Services
- To formulate policies and procedures for efficient use of Library resources.
- To review Library readership department-wise.
- To adopt measures to enhance readership
- To seek feedback on Library functions from readers.
- To submit the annual report on the functioning of the library

VISION: Prevention and prohibition of Ragging in the Institutions, Universities including Deemed to be Universities imparting technical education.
MISSION: Ragging is totally prohibited in KG Reddy College of Engineering and Technology, inside and / or outside the campus and anyone found guilty of ragging and / or abetting ragging whether actively or passively, or being a part of conspiracy to promote ragging, is liable to be punished in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009 as well as under the provisions of any penal law for the time being in force.
KG Reddy College of Engineering and Technology ensures that the congenial and welcoming environment is given to the freshers. To achieve this objective following committee have been formed by the Institute as per UGC Regulation 2009:
Punishments For Ragging:
- Every single incident of ragging, a FIR shall be lodged without exception by the college authorities with the local police. In addition, one or any combination of the following punishments can be awarded:
- Cancellation of admission.
- Suspension from attending classes.
- Withholding / withdrawing scholarship / fellowship and other benefits.
- Debarring from appearing in any test / examination or other evaluation process.
- Withholding results.
- Debarring from representing the institution in any regional, national or international meet, tournament, youth festival, etc.
- Suspension / expulsion from the hostel.
- Rustication from the institution for period ranging from 1 to 4 semesters.
- Expulsion from the institution and consequent debarring from admission to any other institution.
- Collective punishment: When the persons committing or abetting the crime of ragging are not identified, the institution shall resort to collective punishment as a deterrent to ensure community pressure on the potential raggers.

- To take cognizance of complaints about sexual harassment, conduct enquiries, provide assistance and redressal to the victims, recommend action to be taken against the harasser, if necessary.
- To recommend arrangements for appropriate psychological, emotional and physical support (in the form of counseling, security and other assistance) to the victim if she/he so desires.
- To play a preventive role by making efforts to provide a congenial atmosphere at the institute by arranging periodic programmers and lectures, if required, on prevention of sexual harassment of women at the workplace.
VISION: Creating safe and motivating environment in our institution and to bring professionalism among students by inculcating best practices.
MISSION: To have optimistic approach in imparting discipline among students. Framing rules and regulations to maintain discipline in the college premises.
FUNCTIONS
- To frame the rules and regulations of the committee.
- To make sure that all the students are aware of the discipline of the college and campus.
- To encourage the students to maintain discipline wherever necessary.
- If any indiscipline found by any of the students, warn them on the first instance.
- Take disciplinary action based on the Rules and Regulations of the committee, if found with indiscipline behavior by the same students repeatedly.

Objectives:
- The scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) Cell in an institute promotes the special interest of students in the reserved category and to provide special inputs in areas where the students experience difficult.
- The cell insures the effective implementation of reservation policies and benefit provided by university viz, admission, scholarship etc.
- To guide the SC/ST students to optimally utilize the benefits of the schemes offered by the State Government, Government of India (GOI) and university.
- To implement and monitor and evaluate continuously the reservation policy in the institution and plan measures for effective implementation of the policy and programmer of the Government and university.
- To function as a Grievances Redressal Cell for the Grievances of SC/ST students and employees of the university and render them necessary help in solving their academic as well as administrative problems.
- To take such follow up measures for achieving the objectives and targets laid down for the purpose by the State Government and the university.

Objectives:
Training and Placement Cell is to guide students to choose right career and to give knowledge, skill, and aptitude and meet the manpower requirements of the Industry. The T & P cell holds the objective of acquainting the students of the Institute with Industries. The Placement cell organizes and extends services towards collaborative placement activities. The cell conducts training activities for the students mainly focusing on Career planning, Personality Development Industry- Institute Interaction, in plant training, Industrial visits, Campus placements, Entrepreneurship Development. Continuous interaction of the cell with the Alumina also helps in achieving the goals & motivating students to contribute in this direction.
The major functions of the Training and Placement Cell
- To assist students to develop/clarify their academic and career interests, and their short and long-term goals through individual counseling and group sessions
- Maintaining and regularly updating the database of students. Maintaining database of companies and establishing strategic links for campus recruitments.
- Gathering information about job fairs and all relevant recruitment advertisements.
- Coordinating with companies to learn about their requirements and recruitment procedures
- Identifying the needs and expectations of the companies to assist them in recruiting most suitable candidates.
- Organizing pre-placement training/workshops/seminars for students.
- Arranging periodic meetings with Human Resources Department of companies and TPO's to promote recruitments.
- To assist students for industrial training in each semester.
- To provide resources and activities to facilitate the career planning process.
- To act as a link between students, alumni, and the employment community.
- To assist students in obtaining placement in reputed companies.

- To make them aware about the guidelines of Supreme Court and to ensure that sexual harassment is treated as an unacceptable social behavior within the institution and the society.
- To highlight the importance of health and hygiene and to promote general well-being of female students, teaching and non teaching women staff of the College.
- To provide and maintain a dignified, congenial working environment for women employees and students, where they can work, study and explore their potential to the fullest.
- To inculcate entrepreneurial attitude among young girls at the earliest so that they can be “job givers” rather than “job takers”

VISION: The objective of the Grievance Cell is to develop a responsive and accountable attitude among all the stakeholders in order to maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere in the institute.
MISSION:
- Upholding the dignity of the College by ensuring strife free atmosphere in the College through promoting cordial Student-Student relationship and Student-teacher relationship etc.
- Encouraging the Students to express their grievances/problems freely and frankly, without any fear of being victimized.
- Suggestion / complaint Box is installed in front of the Administrative Block in which the Students, who want to remain anonymous, put in writing their grievances and their suggestions for improving the Academics / Administration in the College.
- Advising Students of the College to respect the right and dignity of one another and show utmost restraint and patience whenever any occasion of rift arises.
- Advising All the Students to refrain from inciting Students against other Students, teachers and College administration
- Advising all staffs to be affectionate to the Students and not behave in a vindictive manner towards any of them for any reason.
- Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited in and outside the institution. Any violation of ragging and disciplinary rules should be urgently brought to the notice of the Principal.

To facilitate hygienic and nutritious food at reasonably priced merchandise and services essential to their comfort and well-being.
MISSION:
The Committee monitors, at regular intervals, the quality and quantity of services provided by the canteen and works together with the canteen in charge to improve the services with regards to quality of the food provided, timing of canteen, prices of articles sold.

Roles & Responsibilities of Transport In-charge & Committee Members
- Receives requests/applications from students and staff for seats in college buses and allot routes on first. cum-first served basis and issues bus passes.
- Ensure maintenance of vehicles in good running condition.
- Maintaining the documents, Manage, supervise and monitor bus operations.
- Inspect the condition of the buses and report for necessary action on a consistent basis.
- Responsible for periodical maintenance of all the buses and in case of any major repair, should report to the Principal immediately.
