Students of 2nd year of Department of Civil Engineering had successfully completed two weeks Summer Internship from 15thth May to 31st May,2023. In total 51 students undergone internship from Jaswanth Engineering Services (JES)- PEB & structural steel Design & Detailing, Visakhapatnam, SAP Engineers, Vikarabad, Hyderabad and SkillDzire Technologies Private Limited, Hitech City, Hyderabad, Lorven Homes
Private Limited, Balanagar, Hyderabad. In this Internship students learnt STAAD Pro software, which is a structural analysis and design software widely used in the field of Civil Engineering. Students learned how a building can be analyzed and designed after application of various types of loads. Students also observed the visual interpretation of structural behavior that help them to understand the load distribution that withstand forces. Some students took internship from the construction companies, where they got an opportunity to learn about the construction process of water storage tank. Moreover, students interacted with the workers involved in constructing a tank and observed the formwork construction of outer wall of tank. Students were given detail information related to Tank Construction. They learnt design and construction process of footings, beams, columns, brick work. They learnt about quantity estimation that is how much material required for the construction. Few students undergone training on REVIT software from JES-PEB & structural steel Design & Detailing , they learnt about
how to create levels, columns, beams, stair cases, and slabs. How to set up reinforcement in structure and detailing of structure.
