The Department of civil engineering, KG Reddy College of Engineering & Technology organized a Guest lecture on the course “Geotechnical Engineering” having selected the topic was “Energy Geotechnics &Geostructures” on 16/12/23 by offline mode. The 3rd year students were the participants along with few faculties. The guest speaker for this session was Mr. Prashant Hugar, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, J.B Institute of Engineering & Technology, Hyderabad. He Initiated the sessionon thermal performance tests, that aim at obtaining the energy capacity of a system, are differentiated from thermal response tests, which have their origin in the need to determine the soil thermal conductivity in situ.Finally Concluded his session and he interacted with students
