The Department of Civil Engineering at KG Reddy College of Engineering and Technology organized an insightful guest lecture on the topic “Work Energy Principle in Applied Mechanics” for first-year civil engineering students on Thursday, June 5th, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The session was led by Dr. M. Durga, Associate Professor at Vignan Institute of Technology and Science, Hyderabad. Dr. Durga delivered a comprehensive overview of the Work Energy
Principle and its practical applications in the field of Applied Mechanics, making the concepts accessible and engaging for budding engineers.
This academic initiative was coordinated by Mr. M. Rathna Chary, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering. The event saw the enthusiastic participation of approximately 20 students, who benefited greatly from the expert insights and interactive discussion.
