Biography
Dr. Soumya Sucharita Singha is an accomplished academician and researcher in the field of Civil Engineering with specialization in Water Resources Engineering. She is currently serving as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Civil Engineering at KG Reddy College of Engineering & Technology, Hyderabad. With over 18 years of teaching and academic experience, she has held key leadership positions including HoD at multiple reputed institutions. Under her leadership, the Civil Engineering department at KGRCET secured NBA accreditation (2024).

She is actively involved in academic research, project coordination, curriculum development, and mentoring students. Dr. Singha is also a life member of ISTE and the Association of Global Groundwater Scientists.

She is currently working on an ANRF (DST-SERB) funded project on AI/ML-based qualitative and quantitative assessment of groundwater in Raipur district.
