We are delighted to announce that the Department of Civil Engineering at KG Reddy College of Engineering and Technology, under the leadership of Dr. Soumya Sucharita Singha (Coordinator & HOD) and Dr. V. Srinivasa Reddy (Co-Coordinator & Professor), has been awarded a prestigious AICTE VAANI Scheme grant of ₹2 lakhs to organize an offline conference. This significant achievement highlights the department’s commitment to advancing academic discourse and promoting research-driven knowledge sharing.
This grant is part of KGRCET’s broader success, with a total of four Atal FDP/Seminar grants secured during this academic year. The institution congratulates the Civil Engineering team for their dedication and commendable efforts in securing national-level recognition.
Tree Plantation program on 05-06-2025
The KGRCET NSS Units, along with the Department of Civil Engineering, organized a tree plantation event through the IGBC Student chapter in celebration of World Environment Day. This initiative saw participation from Principal Dr. Sai Satyanarayana Reddy, Vice Principal Dr. M.N. Narasaiah, Head of the Civil Engineering Department Dr. Soumya Sucharita Singha, Dr. Srinivasa Reddy, NSS Program Officer Mr. M. Rathna Chary, and Dr. Saikumar Chary as well as faculty and students.
