CRID Team of KGRCET visited Anurag University on 28^th Sept. 2024 to find out about the availability of machines for the Mechanical Research work :

1. 3D Printing facility with different types of multiple printers(PLA, FDM)
2. Manufacturing lab (CNC of milling and  lathe)
3. Additive manufacturing lab
4. Nano Technology (Material Coating Machine and Solar Energy Research) .

During the visit  Dr.L.Jayahari Dean-CRID and Dr.D.Baloji interacted with  Anurag University  R&D coordinators Dr.Viswanath sir, Dr. Madan sir, Dr Singh sir, and Dr. Chalapathi.

The department organized a Guest lecture on DESIGN OF  MACHINE ELEMENTS on 28th Sept. 2024 by our proud Alumni, Mr. A Narender, Associate Design Engineer, Automated Tooling Systems India Private Limited. Mrs.K.Kalpan, Assistant Professor, was the faculty coordinator for the DME guest lecture.

IIC organized the KGRCET internal Smart India Hackathon 2024 from 12^th  to 14^th  Sept. 2024 at KASE KGRCET.

We are delighted to share that ARYUVA, a KGRCET startup, has been selected as one of the top 50 finalists for the Coop Pitch 2024 competition, which will take place at IIM Kerala.

Mr.  S. Sathish, an Assistant Professor from the department, participated in the CEED  Monthly Teaching and Learning Conclave on September 26, 2024.

IEEE-RAS, in association with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, organized a workshop on the fundamentals of IoT on 10th Sept. 2024. M. Hitesh, an expert in embedded systems, was the resource person for this workshop, and Dr. K. Udaya Sri was the faculty coordinator.

The college collaborated with KGRCET and successfully conducted the  GLOBAL STUDY ABROAD EXPO  for the IV-year students on 4th Sept. 2024.

IEEE-RAS, in association with the department, organized a workshop on Lean startup and minimum viable product/business on 23rd September 2024. Ch. Dinesh, CEO and Co-founder of TINY TREATS, was the resource person for this Workshop, and Dr. K. Udaya Sri was the faculty coordinator.
