The Department of Computer Science & Engineering has organized a Guest Lecture on “Computer Organization and Architecture” on 07'h October, 2023 (Saturday) for II-CSE. KG Reddy College of Engineering & Technology encourages the Guest Lecture in the respect fields to get knowledge, and thinking about how the instructions are executed in computer by using hardware diagrams. Mr. Kareti Venkaiah, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Joginapally Bharsakar Rao Engineering and Technology, has been invited for the Guest Lecture. The session started with addressing the participants and introduction of the guest by Ms Vaishanavi, Assistant Professor, CSE and Mrs Manasa, Assistant Professor, Class Incharges for II-CSE A and B sections respectively. The resource person gave the Lecture on the introduction of the subject, Digital Computers, Register Transfer Language, Micro Operations, K-Maps,etc.. Total of 100 Students has participated the Session
Objective of the Session :
- Introduce principles of computer organization and the basic architectural concepts
- Acquire the basic knowledge of digital logic levels and application of knowledge to understand digital electronics circuits.
- Understand the structure, function and characteristics of Digital computer systems.
- Understand the K-Maps, they can be implemented using a minimum number of logic gates.
Outcome of the Session: Upon completion of this guest lecture, students are able to
- Explain principles of computer organization and the basic architectural concepts.
- Have a thorough understanding of fundamental concepts and techniques used in digital
commuters.
- The ability to understand the structure, function and characteristics of computer systems.
The ability to understand , K-Maps, they can be implemented suing a minimum number of logic gates
