The Department of Civil Engineering at KG Reddy College of Engineering & Technology, in collaboration with the IGBC Student Chapter and Green Construction Club, is organized a Guest lecture on "Green Buildings - Towards Sustainable Infrastructure" on February 14, 2025, from 01:00 P.M. to 04:00 P.M. (Online). This session, coordinated by Mr. K. Saikumar Chary, is exclusively for Civil Engineering students and will be delivered by Dr. V.V. Praveen Kumar, Associate Professor and HoD, Civil Engineering, Geethanjali College of Engineering and Technology. The lecture will focus on the significance of sustainable construction, eco-friendly infrastructure, and the role of engineers in achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs), including clean energy, climate action, and smart cities. Students will gain valuable insights into green building practices and their impact on a more sustainable future.
