Department of Civil Engineering in association with Green Construction Club inaugurated Certification Course on BIM Using Revit through Online mode on 5th September, 2023 for B.TechIIIrd year-Ist Sem students as a part of co-curricular activity co-ordinated by Mrs G Mounika and Mr G Venkata Sai Prasad, Assistant Professor, Department if Civil Engineering. On the inaugural day, the session was taken by Mr Kasim Vali Akumalia, Chaiman, 360 BIM Solutions. Nearly 40 Students has been registered for this course. Revit is a powerful BIM tool that has many benefits for architects, general contractors, sub- contractors, estimators, and fabricators. It allows these different trades to design, simulate, and manage building projects efficiently. Revit improves accuracy, enhances collaboration, and streamlines project management. It is foundational to digitally transforming firms to meet industry demands. BIM gives engineers the ability to optimize workflows, improve operational efficiency, and reduce project risk to successfully deliver projects on time.
