The Artificial Intelligence Club, in association with the Department of Computer Science & Engineering β Artificial Intelligence (CSM), organized an Industrial Visit to NIAT (Nextwave Institute of Advanced Technology) on 7th November 2024. This event was specifically arranged for II Year Students, Sections A & B, CSE-AI&ML, from KG Reddy College of Engineering & Technology. The visit aimed to provide students with practical knowledge and an understanding of how instructions are executed in computers using hardware diagrams.
The session commenced with an introduction and welcome address by Rambabu Mudusu, Assistant Professor and HoD of CSE-AI&ML, and Ms. Falak Tuba, Assistant Professor, CSE-AI&ML.
The NIAT Industrial Visit was designed to offer participants hands-on exposure to industrial operations and insights into the workings of small-scale industries. The event highlighted the various support schemes provided by NIAT to encourage entrepreneurship and assist small businesses. Students were introduced to real-world applications of classroom concepts, bridging the gap between theoretical learning and industrial practices.
The guided tour included demonstrations and interactive sessions with industry professionals, providing attendees with an in-depth understanding of industrial processes, including product design, production planning, and quality control. Students also learned about entrepreneurial opportunities and how small-scale industries operate efficiently.
