Department of Civil Engineering conducted one-day industrial visit for Third year students on 12thDecember2022.ThemainobjectiveofthisIndustrialvisitwastogainpracticalexperience where students can acquire knowledge on mix design, types of cements, types of admixtures, concrete mixing proportions, bar bending schedule, building planning and quantity estimation including the safety measures that to be taken during construction works, was well explained by the JMC Project Engineers especially Mr. Mahesh Project Manager, Mr. Hari Prasad Manager. Mr. Jalander made the students attain basic skills before starting explanation of constructionworkatthesitewithseriesofstepsbystepExplanationstartedfromplanningthat includes quantity survey of the 440-croreproject.

Vijay Kumar and Mrs. D Harika along with students of third year, startedat10.00AM from college and reached by10:45AMatVivaCity,Kondapur.Next to that, Assistant Manager & Senior Engineer initiated their interactive talk with students by explaining safety measures followed by Equipment’s usage during Quality testing of soil samples, Concrete Cubes, Material Usage, Estimation of Project, Reinforcement detailing. By this visit student gained practical Knowledge and was aware of Several Construction Practices on site
