Department of Civil Engineering in Association with Green Construction Club and Sky Rider Institution organised ONE DAY CAD-HACKATHON (CADATHON) on 03-02-2023 for IInd year Civil Engineering Students of KGRCET. Civil Engineering Auto CAD, plays a prominent role for Civil Engineer graduates to grab opportunities in Industry. Nearly 50 Students from IInd year of Civil Engineering participated for this Hackathon. During this event students were asked to submit write-up along with their Drafted Plan of AutoCAD. This write-up describes their Innovative ideas and Creativity for Sustainable Plan which will be useful for future generations. In their Write-up they need to answer questions like why did your team choose this Plan? How will this Plan benefit current society? What makes the Plan convenient? What makes the Plan feasible for future generations? What makes the Plan exciting or unique? Students were judged based on Design methodology, CAD design, CAD aesthetics, however animations were optional and was based on students’ interest. Through this CADATHON, students got a wonderful opportunity to present their ideas based on the learning from their certificate course on AUTOCAD.
