Policies and Guidelines

Placement Policy:

  1. Students who are placed in a company with a package below 2.5 LPA will be permitted to participate in placement drives only for companies offering an annual package of 5 LPA and above.
  2. Students who are placed in a company with a package between 3 LPA and 4 LPA will be permitted to participate in placement drives only for companies offering an annual package of 5 LPA and above.
  3. If any company offers a package of 5 LPA or higher, all candidatesβ€”whether placed or unplacedβ€”will be permitted to participate in the campus recruitment drive.
  4. It is mandatory for all eligible students (including those who have already secured placements) to participate in on-campus recruitment drives.
  5. Blacklisted students will be allowed to participate in placement drives only with special permission from the Faculty In-Charge, Training & Placement.
  6. If any candidate submits willingness to participate in a placement drive (on-campus or off-campus) but fails to attend the Pre-Placement Talk (PPT), company-specific training, or CRT program, they may be blacklisted from Training & Placement.
  7. If a candidate is blacklisted from the Training & Placement Cell, they will not be allowed to participate in any placement drives throughout the academic year.

Code of Conduct:

  1. Only Training & Placement student coordinators have the authority to handle Training & Placement matters (internal or external).
  2. Other students may handle such matters only with special permission from the Head of the Department (HOD).
  3. All communication between students and companies after receiving a job offer must be routed through the Placement Cell.
  4. Direct communication with company officials is not allowed.
  5. Students must register to participate in the placement process of a company.
  6. Attendance in Pre-Placement Talks (PPT) and CRT programs is mandatory after registration to be eligible for further placement processes.
  7. Any misbehavior or complaints reported by company officials will be taken seriously. If proven, the student will be debarred from future placements or blacklisted.

Placement Guidelines:

  1. The Training & Placement (T&P) Cell acts as a facilitator for placement-related activities and does not guarantee jobs.
  2. Placement opportunities are provided under the policy of β€œOne Job to One Student at the First Instance” to ensure fair distribution of opportunities.
  3. All students must possess a PAN Card and Aadhaar Card and produce them when required by the company or T&P Cell.
  4. In case of immediate joining, the college will issue a No Objection Certificate (NOC) and provide attendance support.
  5. A candidate will be blacklisted if they express willingness to participate in a placement drive but fail to attend on the scheduled day.
