The Three-Day Workshop on Exploring 2D & 3D Modelling Tools for Design & Construction was successfully conducted from 6th to 8th February 2025 by the Department of Civil Engineering. Around 50 students actively participated in the sessions, gaining insights into the latest modelling and design tools used in civil engineering. The program began with Mr. G. Anvesh, Assistant Professor and Workshop Coordinator, introducing all the esteemed guests. The inaugural session was graced by Dr. Soumya Sucharita Singha, Associate Professor and Head of the Department (HOD) - Civil Engineering, who addressed the participants and emphasized the importance of technological advancements in Civil Engineering. The sessions covered job opportunities, structural drawing analysis, surveying techniques, and software training on tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3DS Max. The combination of expert lectures and hands-on practice provided students with a comprehensive learning experience.
